Key Reading Strategies---AVID Institute

I'm in Dallas at the AVID Institute!  Woo-Hoo!!!
We just practiced a cool READING STRATEGY that would be great for kids.
On p. 182 of AVID book, there is a list of Key Reading Strategies.
We were told to pick an article to read (non-fiction---current event-style).
Then we were told to pick 2 of the Key Reading Strategies to use when reading the article.
